Bus Driver Salary Schedule for 2025-2026
- Hourly Route Substitute Base Pay: $32.72
- Routes are approximately 3 hours per day.
- Hourly Activity Trip/Field Trip Pay: $20.55
- Additional hours available year round for activity trips and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:
- Valid and/or eligible to hold a CDL drivers license to operate a school bus as required by State Law with passenger “P” and airbrake endorsements.
- Driver must have a good driving record.
- Driver must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and obtain/sustain US DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
- Hired applicants must be able to pass the DCI background check and prework physical requirements.
- Be responsible for passengers safety, welfare, discipline, and protection.
- Report any problems or unusual occurrences to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Adhere to all federal, state, local, and school district regulations, including random drug/alcohol testing.

- The Human Resources Office will receive notification that the application has been submitted.
- HR will then send the DCI Background check form to the applicant.
- Upon approval from DCI, applicant will receive information about the substitute onboarding process.
