What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live In Property Caretakers-LIVE RENT FREE! position at Newton Community Development Foundation?
JOIN OUR TEAM AND LIVE RENT FREE
IN NEWTON CENTRE!
Seeking two responsible individuals to live on site and work part-time (average 25 hours/week) maintaining the common areas and grounds of a 43-unit senior living rental community.
In lieu of compensation, live rent free (including heat, hot water, electricity and one parking space) in a 1-bedroom/1-bath apartment.
Additional responsibilities:
- Weeknight on-call coverage for emergencies
- On-call emergency coverage for all NCDF managed properties (average 1 weekend per month with compensation)
- Snow removal and ice management on walkways during weekday evenings/early mornings and every weekend
Some working knowledge of general maintenance, electrical and plumbing preferred. Vehicle required. Excellent interpersonal skills a must!
