Summary
Responsible for picking and packaging products and materials needed to support production and operational needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Ability to work indoors on your feet and wear required personal protective equipment during your shift as required. Utilization of controls, operation of machines or computers to support daily work activities. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods of time. May lift product weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
This is a manufacturing environment and will be exposed to elements such as loud noise, hazardous equipment, heat, dirt, dust, fumes, and other materials. Company safety standards must be always followed.

Summary
Responsible for picking and packaging products and materials needed to support production and operational needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Accurately gathering products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
- Cleaning and tidying as directed.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers.
- Load and unload inventory, stock, and supplies as required.
- Put away incoming inventory into specified areas.
- Move and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools and other equipment.
- Work on and operate carts, dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Print tags, attach, package, and assign product assembly number to align with internal part and assembly processes.
- Coordinate with and other departments to expedite orders as needed.
- Support shipping and receiving processes as directed by department manager.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working area.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Participate in meetings as required.
- Perform duties in a safe manner and promote the safety to others in accordance with Newterra’s safety policies and procedures. This includes reporting all safety concerns, near-misses, and incidents to their manager.
- Adhere to the company processes as detailed in Newterra’s online systems and programs and bring forward ideas for continuous improvement.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize.
- Detail oriented to ensure the highest-level accuracy.
- Dependable and willing to learn.
- Ability to work safely on warehouse equipment, minimizing risk to people, machinery, and products.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and exhibit safe practices in handling of heavy products.
- Strong oral comprehension and communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to use computers and scanning technology.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal.
