New Start Supported Living Services is hiring a Life Skills Coach to support an adult male in Pine Grove, CA. This is a one-on-one role focused on helping someone build independence, stay on track with daily tasks, and develop essential life skills.
This position is great for someone who is patient, dependable, and enjoys helping others in a hands-on, supportive way.
Position Details
Part-time: 6 hours per week
Pay: $20 per hour
Flexible schedule (great for students or as a second job)
One-on-one support in the home and community
Location: Pine Grove, CA
What You’ll Do
Support daily living skills such as cleaning and home organization
Assist with executive functioning (staying on task, follow-through, structure)
Provide redirection and encouragement to complete tasks
Help with budgeting and basic money management
Assist with meal planning and meal prep
Provide consistent structure, support, and accountability
Encourage independence while being patient and supportive
Requirements
Reliable, patient, and able to take initiative
Comfortable providing structure and redirecting when needed
Must be okay working in a home with pets
Experience in caregiving, SLS, ILS, or related field is helpful but not required
Must pass Live Scan background check and TB test
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation preferred
