About Us

Elkhorn Marketing Group is a full-service marketing company that serves wealth management advisors and their leadership teams across the country. We provide social media, graphic design, website services, and marketing strategy to high-performing Advisors, Recruiters, and CEOs.

Our office is located in Northwest Omaha, just outside of Elkhorn, which is where we draw our name. Our mission is to create “Business that Abounds” for our customers and ourselves. We are guided by our Core Values of Appreciation, Curiosity, and Excellence.

We offer a fun, collaborative, and flexible in-office environment. Just as we are dedicated to our clients' success, we are equally invested in building each other up to succeed at work and in life. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and company-paid health insurance.

About The Role

Elkhorn Marketing Group is looking for a Graphic Designer who can bring strong creative judgment, polished design execution, and thoughtful client communication to our growing team.

In this role, you will use your design expertise to develop original visual concepts and client-facing materials for wealth management advisors, recruiters, CEOs, and leadership teams. This is not a production-only design role. You will be expected to make creative decisions, recommend design direction, organize complex information, and help bring each client’s brand to life across print and digital materials.

You will work closely with our internal team and directly with clients to design materials such as logos, brand concepts, custom presentations, brochures, service sheets, onboarding packets, event invitations, client handouts, social media graphics, email newsletter graphics, website visuals, campaign ads, and other marketing pieces.

You will also participate in client meetings, present design concepts, explain creative decisions, and help guide projects from concept through final delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Use creative judgment, originality, and design expertise to develop polished visual materials that appeal to a high-net-worth audience for our clients.
  • Create original design concepts for print and digital marketing materials, including logos, brand concepts, presentations, brochures, social media graphics, newsletters, event invitations, website visuals, and client-facing PDFs.
  • Make thoughtful design decisions related to layout, typography, color, imagery, visual hierarchy, spacing, and overall brand presentation.
  • Translate complex or text-heavy information into clear, organized, and visually engaging materials.
  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple client accounts while adapting designs to each client’s unique identity, audience, and goals.
  • Own design projects from concept through final delivery, including creative direction, revisions, file preparation, and final quality review.
  • Present design concepts to clients and internal team members, explain the reasoning behind creative decisions, and recommend the best path forward.
  • Evaluate client and internal feedback, determine how to incorporate revisions, and maintain design quality throughout the process.
  • Communicate directly with clients and team members to clarify goals, manage expectations, and keep projects moving.
  • Manage multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Review work for layout, formatting, alignment, consistency, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall polish before delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio showing polished design work, original creative thinking, and a clear understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and composition.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in an agency, marketing, financial services, or client-facing design environment.
  • Ability to design professional materials for a high-net-worth audience and for clients in a polished, relationship-driven industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to catch inconsistencies in formatting, spacing, alignment, copy, and brand usage.
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear, concise, and visually compelling materials.
  • Strong writing, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas, explain design choices, receive feedback, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing several different projects for different clients at the same time.
  • Flexibility to grow and adapt as our company, services, systems, and client needs continue to evolve.
  • Additional experience with website design, HTML, AI tools, video editing, or financial services marketing is a plus.

Pay And Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on skill and experience: $40,000 to $70,000 annually
  • Bonus opportunities
  • Health insurance reimbursement
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunity to be part of a young, fast-growing company with a positive and collaborative work environment
