News Corp is looking for a Sr. Manager for our Corporate Strategy Team who will be
responsible for supporting strategic planning and operations, developing research and analysis
for business initiatives, as well as work with senior management across multiple Business Units
and Departments to ensure the scope and direction of projects are in line with our business
objectives and progressing according to plan. This role will have exposure to all projects that
the strategy team oversees with a special emphasis on all of our key global platforms
partnerships. This position is a direct result of the growth and broader collaboration the
Corporate Strategy Team is spearheading.
The Corporate Strategy Team oversees global platform partnerships to expand News Corp’s
reach and distribution of content across various emerging formats, spearheads the global
strategy to accelerate innovation and synergies across News Corp businesses, and provides
thought leadership on new and emerging platforms, products and technologies that are
applicable to News Corp’s global businesses.

Base Pay Range: $140,000 - $155,000 Bonus

Job Responsibilities
- Work with members of the News Corp HQ Strategy Team to create and maintain the
of our Strategic Initiatives. Specific tasks include helping to determine the prioritization
and scope of the various internal and cross-business initiatives, establishing key
milestones and ensuring the team is adhering to all timelines
- Provide direct support to the Chief Strategy Officer, including responding to CEO
processes, leading and coordinating strategic initiatives across global BUs.
- Establish and maintain effective reporting mechanisms as well as draft and monitor KPIs
include working with Finance to integrate budget into the reporting framework
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to message objectives, timing and key
according to the timeline
- Lead preparation for regular reviews of Strategic Initiative workstreams and updates for
agendas, attendee lists, capturing notes and providing summaries with follow up actions
- Support Strategy Team with ad hoc projects as directed, including quarterly CEO
- Be a self-starter that will take initiative in moving projects forward, flagging any potential
Experience
- Project management experience managing all phases of multifaceted strategy projects
- Experience in establishing and enforcing effective product / program management
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and deliver projects in accordance with agreed
- Fluency in storyboarding and crafting PowerPoint presentations
- Comfortable working in Excel
- Ability to judiciously set and manage priorities
- Previous work experience in digital media and publishing a plus but not required
- Highly organized with an ability to juggle multiple projects with varying degrees of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- 6 years of working in consulting, strategy and/or program management with direct
- Excellent written / oral communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional service orientation and ability to motivate staff in a team-oriented,
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and see the big picture while
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
