Required Responsibilities
- Able to work a flexible work style.
- Able to work in sub-freezing, refrigerated, and ambient temperatures.
- Maintain a safe working environment through each shift.
- Accurately and safely unload trucks.
- Complete all Inventory, BOLs, and CCP processes for all product movement.
- Report damaged product to the Supervisor / Assistant Manager immediately.
- Isolate damaged materials for inspection purposes.
- Identify and report discrepancies in the received product.
- PnP Floor.
- Move the product to the appropriate freezer, refrigerated, or dry storage areas safely.
- Always maintain a clean workspace area. This includes the Dock area, Distribution Truck cab, and cargo area.
- Remove recyclable materials from the dock area and locate them in the proper areas of the Unit.
- Collect, Stack, and Arrange all empty pallets throughout the facility.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, inspected, and cleaned according to operating procedures.
- Daily Forklift, EPJ, and Truck Inspections are completed.
- Regular and timely attendance is expected for this position.
- Other job duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
- At least six months of experience utilizing pallet jacks
- At least six months of sit-down forklift experience
- Ability to lift items/packages (up to 50lbs./15 kg)
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attendance, diligence, reliability, punctuality.
