Position Summary
This role supports general warehouse and sanitation operations and is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to materials handling, organization, and cleanliness. The position plays a key role in maintaining operational flow, ensuring work areas are organized, and upholding sanitation standards.
Responsibilities may include organizing supplies, loading and moving carts, restocking materials, maintaining clean workspaces, and supporting dishwashing and sanitation functions. While employees may not perform every task daily, they must be flexible and willing to adapt, as job assignments can change frequently and without notice based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Load carts and trolleys with equipment, containers, and assigned materials
- Push carts and assist with general warehouse workflow
- Organize and restock supplies according to operational needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize trays, containers, and utensils
- Ensure all items are properly washed, dried, and stored in designated areas
- Follow proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to all food safety, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Accurately record and track assigned tasks when required
- Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain flexibility to perform different tasks as assignments change
- Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position
- Other duties may be assigned based on operational needs
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in warehouse, production, sanitation, or similar environments is a plus but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team-oriented setting
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to work onsite
- Role requires frequent standing, walking, pushing, and lifting
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Work may take place in cold or refrigerated areas
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required
- Noise levels may vary from moderate to high
