Overview
NEWPRO, New England's oldest and most successful home improvement company, is searching for a Window and Door Installer Helper based out of our Hartford, CT. office.This position is responsible for helping the lead Window and Door Installer with the accurate and professional installation of NEWPRO's window and door products in residential homes.
Responsibilities
- Install replacement windows/doors by using trade skills such as carpentry, trim carpentry, and construction.
- Adhere to all NEWPRO installation standards and procedures while doing installations and services.
- Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
- Respect customer's property and leave the work area cleaner than when you arrived.
- Inform customers about the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations.
- Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.
Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Possess 2 years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in-home renovation experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.)
- Ability to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
- $23-30/hour plus overtime based on experience.
