Brand Ambassador (Part-Time, Seasonal – Summer 2026)
📍 Newport, RI | $22/hr | June–August
newportFILM is hiring Brand Ambassadors to help bring our 2026 Outdoors season to life.
As a year-round nonprofit documentary film series, newportFILM presents over 30 films annually, with our free summer screenings drawing more than 15,000 attendees across Aquidneck Island. We’re looking for outgoing, community-minded individuals to represent our organization and help grow our audience.
What You’ll Do
- Represent newportFILM at community events, farmers markets, and screenings
- Engage with the public and share our mission, programming, and membership opportunities
- Create a welcoming, high-quality guest experience at outdoor screenings
- Support grassroots marketing efforts across Newport and Aquidneck Island
About You
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with new people
- Passionate about film, arts, and community engagement
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working outdoors
- Prior events experience is a plus
Details
- Part-time (12–15 hrs/week)
- Required availability: Wednesdays Thursday afternoons
- In-person, Newport, RI (June–August 2026)
