What You’ll Do
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician at NVH, you’ll play a vital role in patient care and client education, including:
- Providing Fear Free, low-stress nursing care
- Assisting with exams, diagnostics, anesthesia, dentistry, and procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical patients
- Performing laboratory work and patient treatments
- Educating clients with empathy and clarity
- Collaborating closely with doctors, technicians, assistants, and CSRs
We value technician utilization and trust our LVTs to work at the top of their license.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (or eligible for licensure in Vermont)
- Passion for Fear Free or low-stress handling (Fear Free certification encouraged—we support it!)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, growth-oriented mindset
