About the Position: In the Storeroom Manager role, you will be responsible for overseeing all receiving, storage, and distribution of goods throughout Castle Hill Inn, with a focus on food and beverage support.
About You : You are detail-oriented, operationally minded, and experienced in inventory control, food safety, and team leadership.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee all receiving, inspection, and proper storage of goods, including food, beverage (beer, spirits, non-alcoholic), chemicals, paper goods, and other hotel supplies.
- Validate quantity, quality, and temperature of deliveries; reconcile against purchase orders.
- Ensure all perishable products are rotated and stored according to FIFO and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and pest-free conditions in all storage areas.
- Serve as the primary contact for departmental requisitions and special requests, distributing products efficiently to all other departments.
- Manage Business Unit transfers, interdepartmental deliveries, and record-keeping for inventory movements.
- Communicate any delivery issues, shortages, or delays to relevant department heads.
- Support culinary leadership with food and beverage inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Supervise storeroom staff, including stewards, receivers, dishwashers, providing training in proper receiving, storage, and inventory practices.
- Coordinate with the department leadership and other roles to support hotel-wide procurement and operational needs.
- Support non-food and beverage departments with procurement and receiving as directed.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or college degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in hotel storeroom, receiving, or culinary management.
- Experience managing a team of up to 5 employees preferred.
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication, mathematical, and reasoning skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and hotel operations.
- In-depth understanding of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and proper storage guidelines.
- Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds, and perform repetitive movements such as bending, reaching, and lifting
- Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
