Hemenways is looking for a Porter to join the team.

About the Position: In the Porter role, you will perform all duties related to maintaining general cleanliness of the restaurant.

About You: You are helpful and polite with a proactive attitude that excels in customer service.

Essential Duties

• Support all departments with the maintenance and cleanliness of the space ensuring the restaurant is clean, safe and in order
• Keep areas orderly, organized and maintains stock by assisting the chefs in keeping the kitchen in full working order
• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces as necessary
• Trash collection/disposal, restroom cleaning/stocking as necessary

Qualifications:

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Prior experience a plus but not required

Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Salary : $14 - $16
