J.T. Commons is looking for a Food Runner to join the team.
A casual spot anchored by an exciting and extensive pizza program and a menu that celebrates everyday favorites, J.T. Commons will offer year-round dining featuring a large bar and dining room with plenty of space to talk, watch the game, and catch up. Al fresco dining will be offered seasonal on the patio. J.T. About the Position: In the Food Runner role, you will be calling out and verifying food orders in the restaurant, while also assisting with delivery of food (or beverage when necessary) to guests.
About You: You are positive and energetic with a great attitude. You are looking to be part of a team, while still being able to work independently, in a fast-paced environment. You have prior food running experience or are willing to learn as a new skill!
Essential Duties:
- Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all aspects of the daily operations
- Opening and closing of restaurant. Monitoring daily setup/ breakdown of the restaurant including side work responsibilities of FOH staff
- Front door management and support
- Table section maintenance and support
- Guest intervention, table touches, food allergy awareness and support
- Maintaining a professional relationship with other managers and employees

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Prior experience a plus but not required
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
- Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
