Attached is La Vecina Taqueria - a bright and flavorful take on modern taqueria fare with authentic street-style tacos, mezcal-forward cocktails, and bold, playful atmosphere.
About the Position
We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations for both Bar ‘Cino and La Vecina. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for all aspects of kitchen management — from team development to menu creation and cost control — ensuring excellence, efficiency, and profitability across both concepts.
You’ll inspire and mentor a talented culinary team, fostering a culture that values creativity, collaboration, and consistency in delivering high-quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct all kitchen operations for both restaurants
- Manage labor, food costs, and budgeting to achieve financial goals
- Lead menu development and engineering with a focus on quality and innovation
- Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff while maintaining a strong, positive team culture
- Ensure safety, sanitation, and quality standards are consistently met

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $100,000–$115,000/year

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Culinary Arts degree preferred (or equivalent experience with a proven track record)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in cost control and menu execution
- Flexible schedule — able to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
