Wooden Pin is looking for a Baker to join the team. This is a full-time, seasonal position!

About the Position: In the Baker role, you will be responsible for producing cakes, desserts and all associated prep recipes, under the supervision of our Executive Pastry Chef. This is a full-time, seasonal position!

About You: You are passionate about baking and pastry. You have a strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

Essential Duties:

• Properly scales, mixes, and bakes, as specified by the chef
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment at all times
• Upholds all organizational and sanitation guidelines
• Maintains quality and consistency in all baked goods
• Writes daily production list, as needed
• Works collaboratively with all bakery team members to fulfill production levels
• Assists in the packing and labeling of out-bound orders as needed
• Assists in monthly inventory of ingredients and prepped products
• Participates in seasonal recipe development as outlined by the chef

Compensation and Benefits:

Qualifications:

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
• Two years culinary education or two years baking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized, with great attention to detail
• Outstanding baking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
