Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner located in Costa Mesa, CA. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians to provide exceptional care to patients with pulmonary conditions, including diagnosing and managing chronic and acute illnesses. Daily responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment planning, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and educating patients and their families about respiratory health. The role also involves coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal medical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in patient evaluations, diagnostic assessment, and clinical decision-making
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, and sleep disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate within a healthcare team
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical documentation systems
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and a current, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license
- Background or interest in pulmonary medicine is preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification is required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
