Position Summary
This role is much more than delivering equipment.
You will be the face of Newport Medical Supply in patients’ homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and assisted living communities. Your ability to professionally educate patients, provide compassionate service, and ensure every delivery is completed safely and correctly is just as important as your technical skills.

Responsibilities
* Deliver, assemble, and install medical equipment including:
* Hospital beds
* Manual wheelchairs
* Power wheelchairs
* Mobility scooters
* Lift chairs
* Walkers
* Bathroom safety equipment
* Patient lifts and other home medical equipment
* Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
* Ensure equipment is properly fitted and functioning before leaving the home.
* Complete electronic delivery documentation accurately.
* Pick up rental equipment.
* Perform basic equipment inspections, cleaning, and maintenance.
* Communicate professionally with hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and home health agencies.
* Represent Newport Medical Supply with professionalism and compassion at every interaction.

Qualifications
Required
* Experience delivering and setting up durable medical equipment (DME)
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Comfortable educating patients and caregivers
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Clean driving record
* Ability to safely lift and move medical equipment
* Dependable and punctual
* Comfortable using smartphones and electronic documentation
