We are currently seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team of Healthcare Heroes!
As the Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for facilitating group and individual activities such as exercise, trivia, games and art, etc. An ideal candidate …Must enjoy working with and understands the needs of the elderly.Must have a positive and optimistic attitude that will encourage and uplift the spirits of our residents with each day’s activities.Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities in accordance with their interests.Must be able to work independently with limited supervision at times and work effectively as a team member.Must be willing to leave the facility on occasion for outings.Must be professional and respectful towards residents with consideration for their specific clinical level of functionPrevious experience with geriatric population preferred; however, we will train the right candidate!Bilingual speaking is a plus!For information contact Human Resources (610) 593-3114.
