Elementary Classroom Teacher (anticipated lower grades)

The Newport City Elementary School seeks a knowledgeable and energetic individual to teach within its’ PK-6 school with approximately 350 students. Newport City Elementary School’s mission is to educate the whole child to become a caring, productive participant of the community. The anticipated assignment would be in the lower elementary grades. The ideal candidate would be a motivated and responsible professional who love teaching young children with a variety of strengths and challenges. Applicants should have good communication skills and be team players. Candidates for a teacher position must have or be eligible for appropriate Vermont AOE licensure. Salary & Benefits: As per the Teachers’ Negotiated Agreement. Salary range between $49,970 and $89,460 based on education and previous experience.
