Newport Church is seeking a Youth Pastor who is deeply committed to leading, discipling, and releasing the next generation. Newport Church is a vibrant family oriented church with a thriving next gen ministry. We focus on growing in the Spirit and the Word of God, revival, missions, evangelism, and building and maturing in faith. Teens serve in all the teams in the church.
This role is for someone who has a genuine passion to build teams, and lead gatherings and events for the next generation to encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. This person will be excited to build a thriving youth ministry where students experience authentic community, grow in their faith, discover their God-given purpose, and become lifelong disciples of Jesus. The yearly calendar consists of worship and revival nights, youth retreats with our network, and more!
The ideal candidate is a devoted follower of Jesus who is filled with the Holy Spirit and deeply committed to the life and mission of the local church. They lead with humility, authenticity, and a deep love for people, creating environments where students feel seen, known, valued, and challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ.
This pastor will enjoy investing in others, lead events, recruiting and developing volunteer leaders, and equipping teams to disciple students with excellence and intentionality. They are collaborative, self-motivated, and thrive as part of a healthy leadership team, working alongside parents, children's ministry, young adults, and the broader church to help students take their next step in following Jesus.

This is a part-time position but could be bundled with additional roles to create a larger part-time or full-time role. Depending on the candidate's experience, gifting, and leadership capacity, this position may be structured as a Next Gen Pastor role with oversight beyond student ministry
