Are you an experienced dental assistant looking for a fresh start with a four-day workweek and every Wednesday off?
Newmarket Dentistry is looking for a skilled, dependable dental assistant who enjoys caring for patients and wants to be part of a team that supports one another. What you’ll do
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures and help provide a comfortable patient experience
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for appointments
- Take dental X-rays and intra orla photos
- Follow sterilization and infection-control procedures
- Keep accurate patient records and help the clinical day run smoothly
- Communicate with patients and provide post-treatment instructions
- Work collaboratively with the dentist and the rest of the team
What we’re looking for
- Previous dental assisting experience
- A friendly, compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependability, professionalism, and a willingness to support the team
- The ability to commute to Amherst, Massachusetts
- Applicable Massachusetts dental assistant registration and radiography credentials, as required for the duties performed
- Experience with Curve Dental software is a plus
Position details
- Location: Amherst, MA
- Schedule: Four days per week, with every Wednesday off
- Hours: 7:45 -5:15pm
- Pay: Based on experience 25-28 per hour
