Responsibilities:
- Lead the West Coast Financial Consulting team in support of institutional investment sales and capital markets transactions
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and finance professionals across multiple concurrent assignments
- Direct underwriting and valuation for office, mixed-use, and other institutional commercial real estate assets
- Review and approve complex financial models, cash flow analyses, Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs), and offering memorandum financials
- Partner with brokers, clients, lenders, and ownership groups to refine assumptions, evaluate deal structures, and shape pricing strategy
- Establish scalable underwriting standards, workflows, and quality-control procedures across the platform
- Advise leadership on market trends, valuation methodology, capital markets dynamics, and transaction structuring
- Step into hands-on underwriting and execution for high-profile or technically complex assignments as needed
- Recruit, train, and retain top analytical talent to strengthen the long-term capability of the team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of commercial real estate experience, with a strong focus on institutional underwriting and valuation
- Advanced expertise in ARGUS Enterprise and Excel-based financial modeling
- Deep command of real estate valuation, discounted cash flow analysis, debt structures, leasing economics, and capital markets
- Prior experience managing analysts or finance teams within a commercial real estate environment
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Institutional office experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AI platforms and analytics tools is a plus
