Quality Control Lead

POSITION TITLE: Quality Lead/Technician

Summary:

Under administrative direction of the quality control group leader, provides direction to production and quality staff concerning product quality requirements. Controls all quality requirements in his/her group.

Job Responsibilities:

· Directs respective support group staff responsible for processing paperwork associated with Customer CA’s, PPAP, Data Sheets, PQCT, and PFMEA.

· Investigates claims of quality issues within the production scope and makes recommendations for specific quality action plans and arbitrate customer complaints.

· Assists group leader in determining appropriate staffing.

· Assists group leader with development of budget for quality control.

· Maintain principles and practices of Newman Technology, Inc. quality control management.

· Assists group leader with goals set forth by Newman Technology, Inc. business planning procedures.

· Assists with new quality requirements with New Model Group and Research and Development.

· Assists with meeting customer expectations.

· Applies root cause analysis for complex issues.

Qualifications:

· 4 years supervisory experience a plus

· 2 year degree or relevant experience in the field required.

· CMM Theory knowledge(Metrology)

· Strong Organizational Skills

· Strong Communication Skills

· Teamwork

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Leadership Skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Must be able to maintain confidential information

· Strong Analytical problem solving

· Extensive drawing and blueprint knowledge

· Plexus ERP experience a plus

· Above average math skills

• Flexible with hours and assignments to support our customers. Must be willing to work Weekends and OT as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.23 - $26.35 per hour
