Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiology Technician located in Shattuck, OK. The Radiology Technician will perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays under the direction of qualified physicians. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper use of equipment, adhering to radiation safety standards, and maintaining accurate patient records. The technician will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology techniques
- Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety practices and guidelines
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Understanding of medical terminology and procedures related to radiology
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Current CPR certification and licensing in the state of Oklahoma
- Experience in a healthcare or radiology setting is a plus
