Food Service Worker

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join our food service department. This part-time role supports daily meal preparation, service, and cleanup in a school cafeteria setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving breakfast and lunch
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Support inventory and restocking tasks
• Provide friendly service to students and staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to the values and mission of Newman Catholic Schools

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Work Location: In person
