What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Specialist position at Newlin Disability?
Position Summary: The Prep Specialist is responsible for preparing a file for hearing and performing any tasks required after a hearing has been held. Once training is complete you may be eligible to work from home as long as goals are being met
Key Responsibilities:
· Download and review the Social Security file
· Review the treatment on file and contact the client to verify treatment
· Follow up on any prehearing requests by the attorney
· Prepare records requests
· Submit 5 day motions for outstanding records prior to hearing
· Any post hearing work required by the judge or attorney
· Fax contracts to Social Security for upcoming hearings
Required Qualifications:
· Must have been employed with the firm for at least one year.
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
