Job Description:

Technical Requirements:

  • The Contractor's personnel may work in multiple areas of the lab as determined by the needs of the service at that time and shall be responsible for providing the following service:
  • Perform onsite phlebotomy and specimen processing.
  • The employee will perform patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws.
  • The employee will perform sample processing and send out preparation.
  • As part of safety, positively identifies patients prior to sample collection and samples prior to testing or aliquoting.
  • As part of safety and safeguards electronic and paper patient information.
  • Identifies, documents, and resolves any collection, or processing issues.
  • Assures patient-centered care and provides service in a manner that is professional and will avoid complaints from all stakeholders and customers.
  • Contractor's employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience
  • ACLS/BLS certification
  • Confirmation that candidates have been checked against the OIG Exclusion List
  • Resumes/CVs must meet all education and certification requirements for Medical Technicians (Phlebotomists)
  • Proof/copies of licenses, certifications, professional training, including diplomas and certificates
  • A signed commitment letter

Pay: $25.00 per hour
