What You’ll Do

As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll be the face of Newk’s Eatery and help create an exceptional experience for every guest.

Responsibilities include:

·      Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and a positive attitude

·      Take guest orders accurately while providing menu knowledge and recommendations

·      Deliver fast, friendly, and attentive service

·      Ensure every order is complete, accurate, and presented with care

·      Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining room

·      Keep beverage stations, condiment areas, and dining spaces fully stocked

·      Assist with curbside, takeout, and catering orders

·      Work closely with the kitchen to ensure timely food delivery

·      Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly

·      Support teammates throughout the restaurant to provide outstanding service

Physical Requirements

·      Stand and walk for extended periods

·      Lift and carry up to 30 pounds

·      Frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant

·      Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

·      Work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communications and guest service skills
• Knowledge of a Point of Sale System (Preferably Aloha)
• Must be at least 16 years old upon hire date
