What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daytime Dishwasher position at Newk's Eatery?
Dish Washer Staff is a Back of House positions. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for plate ware, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using a machine and manual cleaning methods. This position ensures the dishwashing area is clean, safe, and sanitary. This position needs a motivated individual that prefers to work individually. Must be focused and pay attention to details.
Physical Requirements:
- Extensive standing without breaks.
- Exposure to heat, smoke and cold.
- Reaching heights of approximately six feet and depths of approximately three ft.
- Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided for periods of up to eight hours or longer as needed.
- Effective communication with peers, managers and guests.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Preferred Experience but not limited to.
