What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Specialist/Driver position at Newk's Eatery | Roundtable Enterprises, LLC?
The Catering Specialist/Driver is an hourly partner position, that can be considered to be a promoted employee of NEWK's or an applicant with catering preparation experience. This is a mostly morning/daytime position. POSITION REQUIRES A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
A Catering Specialist is responsible for:
- Efficiently executing the catering order process from receiving orders, preparing food orders, & delivering orders.
- All the functions that are related to ensuring a successful day of catering.
- Includes food prep, food presentation, and food delivery.
- Assembling the catering orders.
- Checking orders to ensure accuracy and successfully implement the NEWK's Accuracy Plan.
- Making tea necessary for deliveries.
- When deliveries and catering assembly are finished for the day, hourly responsibilities within restaurant are required.
- Other comparable duties as asked by management
Physical Requirements:
- Must be friendly, polite, accommodating to needs of guests, and always on time.
- Extensive standing without breaks.
- Effective communication with peers, managers and guests.

REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communications and guest service skills
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred (college a plus)
- Operating FOH P.O.S. System (Aloha).
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
