Job Description:

Newhart’s Cleaning Service, the #1 rated cleaning service in Franklin County, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is flexible, professional, and dedicated to providing top-quality cleaning services to our clients within Franklin County, Roanoke County, and surrounding areas. As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' homes and spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform residential cleaning services, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing various surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment with care and ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and management to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance in accordance with company dress code.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report and address any maintenance or cleaning issues that arise during the job.
• Complete jobs in a timely manner while meeting company standards for cleanliness and service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping is required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment (up to 25 lbs).
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• Must be comfortable working in client homes and maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Flexibility in working hours is preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may fluctuate)
