Security Specialist IV (CPSO)

The Security Specialist - Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) will assist the Security Support Lead in the execution of all security related functions. The Security Specialist will be responsible for the functions related to the following areas: physical security, information security, personnel security, and cyber security. The Security Specialist will possess knowledge on collateral, SCI, and SAP regulations.ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day administrative security supportTrack memoranda of agreements, transition plans, co-utilization agreements, classification guides, and other security documentation as requiredAssist in conducting facility security self-reviews annually and provide corrective action plans as necessary Establish and maintain an electronic database for all program facilities and personnelRequirementsActive TS/SCI Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly2 or more years of security specialist experience2 or more years of experience using Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project)Experience in solving DoD and DoN security problemsDemonstrated experience in managing special access programs, insider threat programs, and security education/training awareness programsDesired SkillsBachelor's degreeSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)Subject matter expertise in the use of the Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) software applicationAbout UsFor more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients’ toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent. Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
