We are looking for an Availability Manager to join a program that we continue to support. ResponsibilitiesImplement moderately complex core business processes and assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance customer service. Identify process matters of significance or enhancements and implements.Lead Incident Response during critical outages and ensure proper notification to management and customer POCsEvaluate employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Address performance issues and make recommendations for personnel actions.Prepare Daily Report on Incidents/Change/Problem tickets and SLA statusPrepare summary report on all Major incidents occurring on shiftPrepare Operations Center schedulingRequirementsTS/SCI FSP ClearanceBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.3 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityAble to communicate professionally with all levels of personnel from technicians to senior managementStrong time management, communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsStrong troubleshooting and technical skills in networking and desktop supportExperience with enterprise management monitoring tools such as HP Openview, Solarwinds, or Splunk a plusExperience with ITSM tools such as Remedy, Service Now, Service Manager, or equivalentExperience scheduling in a 24x7 environmentAbout UsFor more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients’ toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent.
