VP Information Systems

Salary Range: $150k-200k, local travelling required.

Summary: We are seeking a VP of Information Systems to lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling a data dashboard platform used to deliver actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
As an Engineering leader, you will play a critical role in both technical leadership and people management. You will work closely with product, design, and data teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers
• Drive the development and maintenance of a robust data dashboard platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and UX
• Ensure best practices in engineering, code quality, and system design
• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
• Manage project timelines, team capacity, and resource planning

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Job Specific Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• 10 years of experience in software engineering, including 5 years in a leadership or management role
• Strong technical background in full-stack development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, etc.)
• Experience with data visualization tools or dashboard frameworks (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or custom solutions)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proven ability to manage engineering roadmaps and deliver on complex projects
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to organize and simplify technical information and handle multiple projects.
• Must be able to prioritize, manage and complete high volume of tasks, while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to communication and team building.
