Salary Range: $130k-150k
Summary: The FP&A Manager will play a key leadership role in the Financial Planning & Analysis function, overseeing analysts and serving as a strategic partner to both Finance and Operations. This position is responsible for leading the budgeting process, overseeing monthly financial reviews, and developing financial models and KPI frameworks to support data-driven decision-making.

Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts; foster collaboration, development, and accountability.
- Partner with the Director of FP&A to lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all facilities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Accounting, and other departments to align financial goals with business performance.
- Lead monthly financial review meetings with operations and executive leadership, setting performance targets and identifying key trends.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly presentations and onboarding sessions for new leadership, describing the role of FP&A and providing guidance on the dashboards, financial reports, and analytical tools available to support operational decision-making and performance management
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to support business decisions.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, scenario modeling, and ROI evaluations for strategic initiatives and other various projects.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of financials received from accounting during month-end close, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Produce detailed management reports, KPIs, and trend analyses to measure operational and financial performance.
- Build and evolve KPI models based on evolving company and operational needs.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial statements, including the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement, with frequent exposure to reviewing and analyzing these reports.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analysis processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation within the FP&A function.
- Support system integrations, data governance, and report standardization across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, preferably within healthcare, multi-site operations, or related industries.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and their interrelationships.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (complex modeling, data automation, scenario analysis).
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with proven experience building strong cross-functional relationships.
Preferred:
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare services.
- Experience leading process improvement and automation projects.
