What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Newfound Lake Inn?
Newfound Lake Inn, Bridgewater, NH, is currently looking for a self-motivated, guest-focused candidate to fill the position of Host. The ideal candidate(s) has a welcoming personality, knowledge of the area, ability to problem solve, and aptitude to deliver an exceptional guest experience. We are hiring full-time and part-time and seasonal employees.
Duties:
- Greet guests and direct them to their tables.
- Assisting guests with table settings, food table settings, and proper table manners.
- Ensure all plates, cups, utensils, and glasses are clean and properly placed at each table.
- Communicate with the wait staff to ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experiences.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all types of customers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
