Duties

For the internship position, the candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited Construction Management, Engineering or Architectural degree program. The position will closely mirror that of an entry level field engineer / assistant project manager. Duties will require basic level proficiency in the following:

• Use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Etc.)
• Use of Document Management Software (Procore or similar)
• Use of BlueBeam Revu & BlueBeam Studio
• Basic Review & Processing of Submittals, Shop Drawings and RFI’s
• Basic Preparation of Meeting Minutes & Project Correspondence
• Basic Quantity Take Off, Estimating & Bidding
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  
  

This is a temporary entry level position that is designed to expose the applicant/student to a broad range of Construction Management related positions and duties to enhance their educational experience. This position is mutually beneficial as it provides Newfield an opportunity to work with, groom and evaluate new talent coming into the workforce with the intent to hire those whom excel after completion of their degree program.
