Newell Corporation is growing, and we’re looking for a Metrology Technician to join our growing team in Arlington, WA. If you're detail-oriented, passionate about precision, and thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- As a Metrology Technician in our Quality Control department, you will support inspection of components for aerospace, space, energy, automotive, and infrastructure. You will:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Measure product dimensions and verify functionality against requirements.
- Perform inspection and alignment using romer arms, gantry CMMs, and laser trackers to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and document quality issues and working with teams to resolve them.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and quality documentation.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality systems
- Understanding of GD&T and technical drawings
- Experience using CMMs, articulating arms, or laser trackers
- Experience with Spatial Analyzer, PolyWorks, Verisurf, or similar CMM software.
Schedule (4-10’s):
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
