CNC Machinists – Arlington, WA
Pay: $25–$45/hr. | 3 or 4 Day Work Week | Openings on All Shifts

What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Machinist at Newell, you’ll be a key player in our precision manufacturing operations. Your day-to-day will include:
- Setting up and operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes for drilling, milling, grinding, and more.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Modifying G-code and M-code to optimize machine performance.
- Monitoring operations and making real-time adjustments for quality and efficiency.
- Inspecting parts using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other precision tools.
- Creating NC programs to meet customer specs.
What You Bring:
- Experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes or completion of a related technical training program.
- Knowledge of G-code & M-code editing.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles for precise manufacturing.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances accurately.
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot machine issues promptly.
Shift Schedules:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., Monday-Thursday
- Weekend Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Friday-Sunday
Pay:
- $25–$45/hour
- Additional incentive pay for 2nd and Weekend shifts (10% shift differential)
