Position Title: Associate Manager, Digital Marketing

Reports To: Manager, Digital Marketing
The Digital Marketing Team is an integral part of Newell Brands eCommerce Division. It is focused on acquiring and retaining consumers online across our distribution channels (Direct to Consumer, Retail.com, and Amazon) using media strategy and tactical execution to deliver for our iconic portfolio of brands. We consider the consumer first and their shopping journey online & offline with seamless delivery and execution.
As a Digital Marketing Associate Manager in the Baby Business Unit, you will assist with digital activation from concept to execution for Newell’s Baby brands, including Graco, Baby Jogger, NUK, and Century. This is a unique opportunity to understand and develop the digital landscape across eCommerce channels and marketing tactics. You will be a key contributor in developing strategy behind campaigns spanning retailer media, search marketing (Google/Bing, Amazon, Retail), CRM, affiliate marketing, SEO and paid social (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube & more). You will support brand priorities and initiatives to translate into targeting and content online. Additionally, you will utilize sales data, best-in-class data analytics tools, and world class agencies to incorporate priorities into your plans and develop your online strategy.
Specific Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate in the marketing campaign planning process and strategy development in accordance with overall brand and ecommerce growth plans. Involves:

- Partner with cross-functional teams to help achieve aligned priorities and goals
- Support agency relationship including briefing process, media planning, and communications, and working relationship with primary media partners (Amazon, Retailers, Google, Facebook) to drive growth
- Leverage state of the art analytics tools to understand customer activation and digital campaign performance and distill insights to help drive growth
- Develop creative and content translating core brand messages to commercial and engaging online formats
- Drive and meet campaign objectives of new consumer acquisition, revenue, ROAS and engagement
- Partner with Digital Technology team to optimize the marketing technology stack needed to scale performance
- Develop understanding of eCommerce channels and emerging trends
The Candidate
- BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field
- 2-4 years of digital marketing and/or eCommerce work experience
- Proven success in contributing to a team to develop a comprehensive digital marketing plan that is integrated across multiple consumer touch points, including at point-of-purchase
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Knows how to develop key performance indicators to assess marketing investment that leads to conversion
- Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
- Interpersonally savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized
- Experience working with digital marketing agencies and vendors
- Experience with analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar) and familiarity with common marketing technologies
- Experience with Amazon Advertising and/or Retailer Media a plus
