We’re looking for an experienced Funeral Director and Embalmer to lead our West Side Cincinnati Chapel, a location with deep community roots and long standing relationships.
In this role, you’ll guide day to day operations, support and develop your team, and work directly with families during some of the most important moments of their lives. You’ll have the opportunity to put your leadership experience to work while honoring the traditions of the chapel and continuing to build trust within the community.

What You’ll Do
• Lead daily funeral home operations with an ownership mindset
• Coach, mentor, and support a dedicated team
• Serve families through funeral arrangements and services with care and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with Ohio, federal, local, and company standards
• Maintain the appearance, culture, and reputation of the chapel
• Build and maintain strong community relationships
What We’re Looking For
• Ohio licensed Funeral Director (or ability to reciprocate)
• Leadership experience in funeral service operations
• Someone who values teamwork, accountability, and community trust
Ohio licensure requires completion of an accredited mortuary science program, successful passage of both sections of the National Board Exam, and compliance with state licensing regulations. Ohio allows licensure reciprocity for licensed funeral directors with qualifying experience from another state.
Essential Physical Abilities
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or assist with transfers
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and grasp while performing job duties
• Ability to drive company vehicles as needed
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on call rotations
