Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for an Audio-Visual Systems Designer/Consultant.

Responsibilities
- Design AV and theatrical systems including detailed signal flow diagrams, bill of materials lists, and specifications.
- Create signal flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
- Coordinate AV and theatrical system requirements with building infrastructure.
- Create infrastructure drawings in Revit including, but not limited to floor plans, RCPs, section views, elevations, and details.
- Define electrical, mechanical, telecom, and architectural requirements that support designed AV and theatrical systems.
- Coordinate design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrates proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to generate a full technical design document set from a program narrative.
- Possess a solid technical base with desire to learn, lead, and grow into Senior Engineer and Project Management positions.
- Prioritizes effectively, has good follow-through, and practices self-implemented quality control measures.
- Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Theatrical systems or live audio-visual experience is a plus.
