Human Resources Generalist – Job Description

NewCold is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to help support our onsite team at our Hagerstown, MD facility. You will be responsible for supporting local and regional business processes of the HR department, executing activities in various HR areas within established guidelines, procedures and laws.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding HR issues, rules and regulations.
· Collects, validates and provides salary mutations to payroll provider in order to have a timely and correct monthly local payroll.
· Collects, processes and manages all local personnel data.
· Ensures accurate and concise records during all phases of local recruitment processes.
· Monitors and administers absenteeism of the local organization, in line with health and safety legislation.
· Compiles and maintains various HR overviews and spreadsheets such as monthly HR Reports, personnel overviews, salary overviews, leave registration overviews and pension overviews.
· Supports Director HR in various local and international HR projects.
Requirements
· 4-7 years of HR Generalist experience.
· Experienced with onboarding newly hired employees, company benefits explanation to new and existing. employees, various HR oriented tasks supporting corporate and regional hiring, employment laws and guidelines.
Education/Certification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
· PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
