Extended School Year (ESY) Nurse
Provide direct nursing services to students enrolled in summer programming
ESY program will run July 6, 2026-August 6, 2026 or August 13, 2026 depending on program.
Anticipated positions and service hours are dependent on student enrollment in ESY and other programming. Hours are to be determined.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Emergency Response: Act as the first responder for any injuries or acute illnesses (e.g., allergic reactions, asthma attacks, seizures, or physical injuries).
Specialized Care: Manage students with complex needs, including G-tube feedings, catheterization, or continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).
Manage scheduled medication, and “as needed” medications, based on clinical assessment, medical directives and parental permission.
Assess students for injury. Provide first aid as indicated.
Maintain a detailed record of health related communications, nursing interventions and medications administered.
Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding any health concerns or incidents.
Salary $50 per hour
