What you'll do
- Travel to multiple properties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems
- Take the lead on preventative maintenance to keep communities running smoothly
- Perform detailed inspections and identify improvement opportunities
- Train and mentor on-site maintenance teams
- Coordinate and oversee vendor work to ensure quality and efficiency
- Deliver excellent service and build positive relationships with residents and staff
What you bring
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Eastern Iowa
- 5 years of apartment or multi-family maintenance experience (preferred)
- Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repairs
- Solid problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
- Comfort with basic computer systems and documentation
- Valid Iowa driver's license and current vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
