Job Summary: The Maintenance Associate assists with the daily operation of the facility by performing basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks on production equipment and building systems. This role works under the supervision of senior maintenance staff to ensure machinery functions safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical problems on equipment.
2. Document repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities for future reference.
3. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks following PM checklists.
4. Perform tasks under the supervision and guidance of senior maintenance personnel.
5. Keep maintenance and production areas clean, organized, and safe.
6. Keep work areas clear of debris, tools, and unnecessary materials.
7. Follow all company safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
8. Adjust shift hours as necessary to finish maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to production operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
2. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
5. High school diploma or its equivalent required.
6. Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance is preferred but not required.
7. Technical coursework or certification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics fields is a plus.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
1. Ability to regularly lift to 50 pounds.
2. Visual acuity needed to read instructions, operate machinery, and inspect parts for quality.
3. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and operate hand tools.
4. Willingness to work in a plant environment with varying temperatures, noise, and odors.
5. Must follow all safety procedures and wear necessary PPE.

Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
