Newbrook Co of Georgia Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator/Preconstruction professional to support our growing commercial millwork and interior construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong estimating skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in playing a key role in our preconstruction and prebid efforts—particularly in helping expand our geographic footprint.

- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate project estimates.
- Conduct pre-bid site visits and collaborate with the project team to evaluate scope and conditions.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and scope documents for bidding purposes.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and bid submissions.
- Track and organize bid documents, addenda, and revisions throughout the preconstruction process.
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure alignment between estimates and field conditions.
- Support strategic planning for project pipeline and geographic expansion.
- Perform other related duties as needed in the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within commercial millwork or interior trades.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Proficient with take-off software, Microsoft Excel, and general construction documents.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, consistent, and self-motivated — able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- No licenses or certifications required.
- Travel to job sites for pre-bid assessments may be required.
