We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly team in a community pharmacy. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare prescription orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter prescription information and maintain patient profiles
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and obtain prior authorizations when needed
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with professionalism and compassion
- Assist pharmacists with daily workflow and prescription preparation
- Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and order medications as needed
- Receive and process medication deliveries
- Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and running efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a medium-paced environment
- Experience with pharmacy software is a plus (Datascan)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
- Pay is based on experience
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
