What You’ll Do
Manage shop production, optimizing table and shop space use for maximum
productivity.
Host 15 minute daily stand-up meetings for the team to update on progress and
schedule/coordinate casts and breakouts
Advise team on project details, such as missing dimensions, critical details, forming
techniques, etc.
Supervise Employees
- Resolve interpersonal conflicts
- Ensure new hires are progressing technical skills
- Assist in the development of an employee training program
- Hire/Terminate employees
Track and improve recast rate. Lead lessons learned meeting after each recast.
Ensure shop stays clean and organized. Minimize table and tool moving
Apply lean concepts
Inventory management
Fill remaining time working on products
What you will be held accountable for
Safety – Zero injuries acceptable
Quality – Current recast rate is 20%. Target is less than 5%.
Project profitability – track labor hours and material costs per project.
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years’ experience in decorative precast concrete work.
- Able to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet all day
- 2 years supervisor experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Millwork or cabinet making experience preferred (not required)
- Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
